An Easy Everyday Braid

I know how difficult it is every morning to wake up and not only have to rush to put makeup on or choose your outfit, but also deciding what to do with your hair. Most people, like myself, have wavy/textured hair so whatever I decide to do with my hair it has to be something that can control it. One of the things I found to be convenient is doing some type of braid with my hair. Some people freak with they hear the words “braid” because they automatically assume it is very difficult. However, it actually is not that bad, once you give it a try!

Sharing with you an easy braid today that can be accomplished on those days when we are rushing out the door. I must admit, that was me this morning. It’s Friday, and you know those days when you are just wanting the weekend to get started already, well that’s exactly how I felt. This braid is a one-sided braid that has two simple steps.

The first step is to take a small portion closest to your face and start doing a regular dutch braid. If you want a step by step of what the dutch braid actually is, check it out here. So once you are doing braiding that small section to the side of your face use a small elastic band and tie it at the end. At this point you should still have the rest of your hair out, this will be made into another braid along with the one you just finished.

This picture is a little step further, but I will explain what I did. I grabbed the braid I just made and the rest of my hair and separated into three sections to do a regular french braid. Here is a step by step for a french braid. I completed the braid until I had no more hair and used another elastic band to tie it at the end. The reason I have two different braids in one is because more often than not, My hair always falls out but this will help keep the first braid in place.

I hope you like these types of posts. Don’t be shy and leave me a comment down below on what other type of hair tutorials you want to see next. Also, if you haven’t noticed there is a “Pin it” button on each picture to share on Pinterest, pin this easy hair style!
