Heels | LolashoetiqueHello!!
I seriously have been on the lookout for the heels I am wearing in this post. All of the bloggers I follow have been posting a ton of inspiring photos with them and I just could NOT get myself to pay $120+ plus for them. I mean, I understand they are Vince Camuto (from Nordstrom ), but if I fall in mud, the heels will be just as dirty as the cheaper ones I bought, you know what I mean? Mine are a slight bit taller but way more affordable and almost identical to these. If you like them, I say purchase them NOW! They are currently 50% off with code HOTSAUCE at Lolashoetique (For a total of about $16), and there are still a variety of sizes. I picked up two different colors and am in love.
I hope you enjoyed this post!

A Night Out

Heels | similar here, and hereHello,
I put together a simple and quick “Night Out” Outfit. When it comes to going out, there are many options, skirts, dresses, jeans, etc! Super hard to choose, (I know :)). But, as always, if you are having trouble choosing your outfit always go for jeans! You can never go wrong with that and will be comfortable. My favorite kind of jeans are the jeggings. They still look put together like actual jeans, but the “jeggings” part of it come through for the comfort.
I hope you enjoy the last month of summer, cannot wait for fall!

I paired this look with affordable heels I got two years ago at Forever21. I linked some similar ones that I found.

Here’s a quick look at yesterday’s outfit that I wore to run errands with my parents. Doesn’t take much just grab your Nikes and a plaid shirt and you’re good to go! On a side note, I absolutely love these Nikes and recommend them… So comfortable!!

How to Shop for Work Clothes
I wanted to share a work outfit on the blog and give you some tips on how to shop for your wardrobe. I also plan on sharing more outfits for work since it’s what I mostly wear during the week.
TIP #1:
Purchase solid color bottoms, whether that be slacks, skirts, or cropped pants like the ones I mostly wear in the summer (check out my Instagram) for recent looks! By purchasing a solid color, it makes it easier to match any type of blouse. Of course, I also have random print pants for work as well (can’t help! Love polka dot pants).TIP #2:
Have at least 1-2 blazers in your wardrobe. Whether that be a solid black one or a grey one (or even a colored one). Blazers always put together outfits for work (more professional). I love blazers but those do get pretty pricey. Sometimes it is best to invest in a good one OR be on the lookout for sales. I purchased mine when I used to work at Ann Taylor Factory (only $20, originally $150). If you have your favorite stores, check up on them and see when items like blazers are marked down. If you can’t seem to find a blazer, no problem, use a cardigan! They are very similar and a lot cheaper. With cardigans, I suggest having pop of colors that complete you outfit. Simply, wear a white, black, or grey top and a pop of color with your cardigan… and woahla! You have yourself an outfit.TIP #3:
Last tip is stock up more on shirts! The more shirts you have the more outfits you can create. Don’t purchase a lot of shirts that don’t go with the bottoms you have. Make sure you keep in mind what items you already have in your closet when you are looking to shop for blouses. With shirts you could always change up your outfit by simply wearing a blazer or cardigan, a different necklace, and a different bottom. No one will realize you wore the same white blouse as the week before :).Here are some links to some of the places to shop at for work clothes. I also suggest the outlets stores for Express, Banana Republic, and Ann Taylor.
Xoxo,
Patty G.
