Hi, I’m Dr. Patricia Guerrero. I earned my Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2026.
As a Latina scholar with over a decade of intersecting corporate leadership, IT systems analytics, and higher education experience, my academic mission is to bridge advanced organizational management theory with real-world enterprise operations.

Beyond my academic research, I bring over a decade of industry expertise to my work and the university classroom. I currently serve as a Business Systems Analyst III at Sierra Nevada Corporation, specializing in data modeling and enterprise architecture. My background includes technical leadership roles deploying Workday software transformations for higher education systems and managing software lifecycles using Scrum and agile methodologies within healthcare systems.

My primary research program operates at the vital intersection of Organizational Behavior (OB) and Human Resource Management (HR). I investigate how individual identity, family milestones, and supervisor support behaviors impact employee experiences, workplace stereotypes, and professional advancement. Ultimately, my work aims to provide evidence-based insights that help organizations optimize talent management, foster psychological safety, and implement supportive workplace policies.
